How to Automatically download files from Rapidshare (free user) without getting ‘Already Downloading’ error?

I used a software called ‘Rapidshare Auto Downloader’. But I doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do. I have to manually download the files.

Every-time one file finishes downloading, I get ‘You’re IP already downloading a file’ error? What do I do?
What software should I use?

Chosen Answer:

I personally haven’t had much luck with Rapidshare Auto Downloader. Try one of the programs at http://www.premiumlinkgenerator.net they seem to be the best.

Whats the difference between Premium & Free Rapidshare points?

…and how do you get awarded them? The rapidshare site doesn’t seem to explain very well.

Chosen Answer:

Is it possible that a remote user can download files from rapidshare using my IP ?

It happen more than once ,that rapidshare prompts me to wait because my IP is downloading a file when I’m not. I’m the only rapidshare user in my PC. Is it possible that a user in a remote PC can download files from rapidshare using my IP?

Chosen Answer:

Do you use tunneling or anonymizing software? How about proxy servers like Tor? If you use anything like that it will make downloading from Rapidshare more difficult because there are multiple users assigned to the same IP address. If you are not using any of those things, Then try resetting your connection by powering down your modem and resetting it. Works for me.

Why does Rapidshare tells me that I am downloading a file when I am not actually?

It says my IP address is already downloading a file, which I am not. Also the IP address that rapidshare says is my IP add is different from my actual IP address (I saw it on cmd) what shall I do to fix this?

Chosen Answer:

The IP address which you see when you type ipconfig command, is your internal IP address assigned by router, not by ISP. The IP address which was provided by ISP is used by router to connect to internet. Everytime a new computer connects to your router or to build in network, it assigns it a new internal IP address, so that it can identify each computer sending data by internal IP and to make communication flow easy and secure.

When browsing or download internet, data is first sent from computer to router using internal IP, and then router uses actual IP provided by ISP to pass the data to internet. So internet only knows your actual IP, it doesn’t know your internal IP address.

So may be if you have wireless network, someone from neighbouring area is connected to your wireless network, and is using Rapidshare to download, and thus your actual IP provided by ISP is used, and that’s the problem you are having for downloading. Your internal IP may look like something similar to this 192.168.*.* .

Let (contact) me know if you want to secure your wireless network.

If you want to know your actual IP then you can check these addresses:

RapidShare?

I am new at this rapid share thing, so I do not know quite what to do. When I upload every thing for rapid share and start the download and put in the CD key and start downloading it is like it would if I had bought it from the store, but after it does the first CD it says “Please Insert Disk Number 2” what do I do when it gets to that? I just can’t insert a disk because it is a file on my desktop and not on a disk. Can you explain in simple terms for me because I never did any thing like this? I now it has some thing to do with the cracked exe thing, but I don’t know what to do with the thing exactly. So like I said I am a noob at this thing so I would like some help from the people who used this before and have got the thing they downloaded to work.

Thanks

How do i find files on Rapidshare?

Ok i’ve just became a preimum user on rapidshare and wanna download music, how can i find the files and stuff? Also how do i know what files i’m downloading are safe and what ones arne’t?

Chosen Answer:

There are a number of search engines available for files but unfortunately none of them give any real details of the file you are downloading other than it’s name and size. This means it could contain a virus or the archive could be passworded.

You are best off joining a forum where people post their downloads and then if there are problems you can contact the person who shared the links. Some of the forums are quite spammy, but some are better than others. Google is probably your best bet, or use my source which is reliable.

Is my mac at risk of viruses if I use Rapidshare and Hotfile?

Hello, I am a Mac user, and I have paid for premium accounts on Rapidshare and Hotfile. I will be downloading a lot of music off of both of these sites in the form of large-sized albums. Am I at risk of contracting viruses? Are ‘fake files’ common on these sites? Thank you.
