Downloading a file does NOT give you the liscense to use it. I think rapid fire knows that and is counting on people not knowing the difference. Paying for a program is NOT paying for the content. I think that companies who prey on customers who do not know or who are encouraged not to know the truth is unethical

I have been looking for ways to do this almost all day. What is the best program to use, does the greasemonkey method still work, and if I can’t find that out, what else can I do. Please, somebody give me a good method to do this!
This question about how to get around this gets asked week in/week out with no real cheat found (apart from resetting the IP address each time but it does not work for the vast majority depending if you have a static or dynamic IP address)
The premium account info that people buy is not shared out like candy for good reasons
(a) RapidShare reserves the right to close accounts, which are shared with other people and monitors this by checking on accounts used with multiple IP addresses
(b) people with access just change the account details to lock out the original buyer
There are links to allegedly be able to get accounts free using systems such as referrals, just google it and you can try, but as you can see from personal experience there so many scams & just plain BS to wade your way through as well.
Also using proxies may be a solution – but there are some dubious sites out there – so be sure that you know what you are doing!
Your best bet would be to simply buy the premium account for the time you need it – maybe share it with a good friend (as long as you don’t both use it at the same time)
Otherwise I fear you will spend much more than just 1 days looking for this!

I heard of this premium points in rapidshare but don’t know it… Can anyone explain me these points?
First you must be a premium member, wich mean you must have pay for an account with rapidshare.
Second you must upload some files to your rapidshare folders.
Third everytime someone else download the files you uploaded you earned points, called premium-points.
So to get premium points upload files in your account that people need, and then share the URL with others. (For every file you upload ,Rapidshare give you an URL for this file) The more people use this URL , the more premium-points you get.
Everytime you log-in to your premium account, you can see how many POINTS you get in the second line from top as in the example here:
“Hello, “username”! Your account is valid until Mon, 9. Jun 2008. If you want to extend your account, just click on “Extend Account” below. You have collected 5 Premium-Points so far”

Is it worth it? I download a lot of stuff from rapidshare and I’m sick of the wait. I’m thinking of starting an account with the basic 400 rapids to start off and see how I like it. IS the site trustworthy to give my card? How does it come up on the statement? How much faster does it download? How do the Rapids work and anything that can help?
Rapidshare is great for downloading stuff. It’s pretty fast. I’m on 30 Mbps and I get to utilize the maximum out of my connection. With the recent changes, you will be able to download 137 GB with 400 rapids. 99 rapids for 30GB a month plus 14 rapids for every additional 5GB. I think the price is ok. Plus you get to use the happy hours from 02am till 10am (central european time). During this period you will be charged 10 times less. For example, if you download 10 GB, you will be charged only 1 GB.
My internet connection has static IP. So, i can’t download a single file from rapidshare, hotfile or megaupload. Is there any software to download files from these servers?
Yep, get a premium downloader program, they are awesome. They are a couple good ones at the site in my source and they are free. They give you all the benefits of a premium rapidshare account. You can download as many files as you want without restrictions.

Ok i’ve just became a preimum user on rapidshare and wanna download music, how can i find the files and stuff? Also how do i know what files i’m downloading are safe and what ones arne’t?
There are a number of search engines available for files but unfortunately none of them give any real details of the file you are downloading other than it’s name and size. This means it could contain a virus or the archive could be passworded.
You are best off joining a forum where people post their downloads and then if there are problems you can contact the person who shared the links. Some of the forums are quite spammy, but some are better than others. Google is probably your best bet, or use my source which is reliable.

Why does rapidshare give me the error message: “You are already downloading a file, please wait until the file is done downloading.” When im not even downloading anything?
Perhaps someone else is downloading something on your network? It’s unlikely if this problem is persistent, but then it could be a huge file. Try refreshing your IP address.
