ive a windows vista and whenever i download an album off rapidshare… my computer wont open the rar file. ive no idea what to do? any help?

to open a .rar file you want winrar they’re the best .rar openiers and you can get the free evaluation version so you do not have to pay for it.

just google winrar, it’s a free program that will open the file, you can also, once it’s installed, right click on the file and extract it.
you might find that the file you downloaded is in parts, if it is you will have to locate and download the rest.
Type WinRAR into google and download and istall it
just skip everything as you DONT need to buy it… it just gives you extra crap that you dont need when you buy it!
.. then when you download a file… its like a little stack of books
basically a Ziped folder
then just right click on it and press EXTRACT HERE then it extracts the file ( may take a few seconds depending on the size ) then another icon appears and this is one you can open.. Simply then just delete the little books … there no use to you
